Babis Giannios
Babis is the designer of Monarchs of Camelot. His first game Shadows over the Empire was published in 2013 and he is well known for Vampire the Heritage and his work on Solomon Kane.
He's also a creative writer who has worked on titles such as Super Fantasy Brawl, the Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game, Solomon Kane, Journal 25 and Vampire the Masquerade: Heritage.
In the Monarchs of Camelot board game, you will be able to enjoy stories created by him (and other authors), based on Arthurian legends and written in a modern perspective.

Jason Hamilton
Jason is one of the Authors behind the stories of Monarchs of Camelot. He is a Mythic Fantasy Author and creator of MythBank. He was born and lives in US. He loves mythology, history, and geek culture. When he's not writing, his favorite hobbies include hiking, chilling with his wife, spouting nonsense words at his baby daughter, and developing Mythbank (and other websites).
Jason is known for his The Faerie Queen Series books which are based on Arthurian Legends with a fresh subversive writing and for his Roots of Creation Series books.

Theodora Christodoulou
Theodora spends her free time plotting and scheming while sipping coffee in her small apartment in Voula, Greece. She creates characters laughing with glee as she throws them into the mud and watches them make their way out – if they can. Her stories have often been marked as fiction, fantasy, and horror; however, she dislikes labels and allows them to cross genres, following their own path.
Her creations have been captured on paper, published as part of anthologies, and recently in a standalone novella titled “Druid”. Her short story “In Feed” won the 2021 Larry Niven Award for best fiction (there was much rejoicing). She occasionally exits her lair to go to work and practice martial arts.

Samuel Poots
Samuel is one of the Authors behind the stories of Monarchs of Camelot. He is a writer based in Northern Ireland with almost ten years experience working in the tabletop gaming industry. His work has appeared in Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, Jim Henson's Labyrinth: The Adventure Game, Aizendore's Vault of Tragic Treasure, OnTableTop, and elsewhere.
When not writing or procrastinating, he can usually be seen clambering around the north coast muttering stuff about dragons. If found, please give him a cup of tea and send him home via the nearest post office.

Thomas Mastakouris
Thomas is one of the Authors behind the stories of Monarchs of Camelot. He was born and lives in Athens. He is a lawyer, writer, and translator. He has written and published many books and more than forty short stories, mainly in the field of heroic fantasy and science fiction. He has worked with many publishing houses as a translator and editor, specializing in the field of fantasy literature, with more than 300 translations of books and essays to his credit. He has written hundreds of articles and essays and has contributed to several edited volumes. He is also the designer and writer of the RPG Living Εpics which focus on Homeric Greece.
When not writing he is usually playing RPGs and board games with his family and friends, paints miniatures, or gives lectures at various Cons or events on his favorite authors (Howard, Tolkien, Moorcock, Sanderson, Lovecraft).

Jamie has also designed, illustrated and self published a board game, Hero Master: An Epic Game of Epic Fails.
Jamie is one of the most talented artists we have worked with in the last few years. His passion and love for Arthurian legends is so great that we entrusted him with the entire art for the Monarchs of Camelot boardgame. In the videos below you can admire him at work!
The Battle of Camlann dealt a permanent wound to the kingdom of Camelot. Arthur, emperor of Britain, is dead. Without the wisdom of the lamented king, and lacking a legitimate successor, the empire is slowly shattering, while enemies old and new prepare to pick apart its corpse.
The remaining Knights of the Round Table, the Sisters of Avalon, and the Court of Camelot are seeking a Monarch to succeed Arthur. But the new Monarch must also have the favor of the common people.
Will you earn their trust and respect with your deeds and lead Camelot into a new era? Or will you let it all be destroyed, burned to the ground as primordial foes stir from their slumber?
Monarchs of Camelot is an Arthurian themed, storytelling, decision making, and resource management game for 2 to 4 players and lasts between 60 to 120 minutes. In this game, you will take on the role of a Legendary Monarch. Choose between Queen Guinevere, Sir Lancelot, Lord Oberon, and Lady Nimue and try to prove your worth by earning Prestige points. Reach 10 Prestige and Camelot’s throne is yours.
In this story-focused game, players determine how the narrative unfolds. Support (or contest) non-player characters (Speakers), journey to different places, and choose which story path to follow, all while trying to tackle your own personal goals and claim victory.
At the beginning of each game, players decide which Story to play. The Story will evolve through voting and/or based on the Decisions made. Each Story has multiple paths and 4 different endings which, combined with the Characters’ unique Decision decks and Personal goals, gives the game great replayability.
In Monarchs of Camelot, experience untold stories of the Arthurian age. Forge new paths. Shape your legend. Prove yourself worthy of Arthur’s throne.
